COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – For the 13th consecutive month, the Community Health Center of Branch County has shown a positive net income, with the January number at just under $50,000. While oncology and wound center business was up for CHC in January, surgeries were down, primarily in orthopedic cases.
The net income of $49,805 was up just under 1% over budget for January. Even so, it was down from January 2015.
The CHC Board of Trustees Monday agreed to forward to the Branch County Board of Commissioners a proposal to purchase a new CT scanner and MRI unit, Those new units will cost CHC $1.9 million.
The board also approved an employment agreement with new OB/GYN Dr David Hartfiel.
