COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – March Magic for girls high school basketball around the state of Michigan tips off tonight, and Coldwater will be hosting their own Class B District. The Lady Cardinals, after finishing the regular season with a win at Charlotte Friday, host Paw Paw this evening at 7:00 p.m. Live pregame coverage on AM 1590 and FM 95.5 WTVB begins at 6:30 p.m.
The winner of tonight’s Coldwater-Paw Paw contest will play Three Rivers Wednesday in the second game of a doubleheader at Coldwater High. The first game Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. features Edwardsburg against Vicksburg.
In the Class C District at Quincy High School, the Orioles will host Homer tonight at 6 p.m. Bronson faces the Quincy/Homer winner Wednesday at 5:30 p.m., followed by Union City against Reading.
In the Class D District, Pansophia Academy will play at North Adams-Jerome tonight at 6:30 p.m., while Tekonsha takes on Hillsdale Academy Wednesday at 6 p.m.
All the District Finals in girls basketball are Friday night. The boys district basketball tournament begins next week.
The annual Coldwater Exchange Club 9th Grade Basketball Tournament tips off tonight at Legg Middle School. Coldwater plays its first game tomorrow at 7:00 p.m. against Schoolcraft. Tonight’s games feature Jackson High against Hillsdale at 5:30 p.m., followed by Kalamazoo Loy Norrix against Jackson Lumen Christi.
