LANSING, MI – Michigan Governor Rick Snyder answered questions Friday about new emails released this week concerning the Flint Water Crisis. The emails published by Detroit newspapers showed top advisers in his administration expressing concerns about the quality of the Flint water in 2014. The governor said “I’m kicking myself every day” in response to questions about why the state didn’t act until late last year. Snyder said “I wish I would have asked more questions and I wish I hadn’t accepted the answers.” He signed a bill giving Flint 30-million dollars to help with the cost that Flint residents were billed for water they could not use for cooking or drink.
