COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater School District has cleared with flying colors a Michigan Department of Education audit of the district. That includes changes requested a year ago for improvements at Max Larsen Elementary and Legg Middle School.
Coldwater School Superintendent Dr. Terry Boguth told the Coldwater Board of Education last night that a four hour site review was conducted last week by the state after which the Michigan Department of Education determined that all 37 change requirements had been implemented and labeled the progress since February 2015 “exemplary”.
Boguth thanked the school system’s administration and the principals for their long hours of work on the documentation needed to make sure that the district was in compliance. Boguth added that many teachers at all levels made it all possible as well, calling the overall effort remarkable.
