Late morning accident on Coldwater’s east side sends motorist to hospital

COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A car-pickup crash yesterday morning on Coldwater’s east side sent a woman to the hospital with moderate injuries. According to officials, a pickup truck tried to cross East Chicago from the Home Depot entrance to Walmart around 11:30am when it hit an eastbound car. The woman driving the car, whose name was not immediately released, was transported to the Community Health Center for treatment of her injuries. The unnamed truck driver was not hurt.
