HILLSDALE COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – The Michigan Department of Transportation has announced they will close M-49 over Little Hog Creek in Hillsdale County to replace a culvert starting next Monday, August 7.
Work is scheduled to be completed by September 29.
With M-49 being shut down over Little Hog Creek north of Reading, motorists are being advised to seek alternative routes.
MDOT says replacing this culvert will improve drainage and ensure the stability of M-49 in this area and that closing the lanes will ensure the safety of workers and motorists.
