America’s Farmers Grow Rural Education, sponsored by the Monsanto Fund, is accepting farmer nominations now through April 1 for rural public school districts to apply for grants of $10,000 and $25,000. This year, the program will be awarding $2.3 million for math and science curriculum enhancement.
Last fall, Bronson Community Schools received a $25,000 grant and used the funds to purchase more tablets to use in elementary classrooms.
America’s Farmers Grow Rural Education say they hope to have as many schools as possible take advantage of these grants.
