COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The first 12U girls softball championship game in the Branch County Fair Baseball and Softball Tournament went the distance and then some on Tuesday night.
The Quincy Baseball and Softball Association won the title with a 9-7 extra innings victory over Hillsdale.
Three modified extra innings had to be played to determine a winner. The teams were tied 7-7 at the 90 minute time limit.
Meanwhile, The Village from Quincy defeated the Quincy Baseball and Softball Association 15-0 in the 12U Baseball semifinals.
The Village will face Hillsdale for the 12U Baseball title on Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m..
The first game on Wednesday starts at 5:30 p.m. with QBSA playing Colon in a 10U baseball game.
