House fire on Waterman Avenue causes $25,000 in damage

COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A fire on Saturday night at 165 Waterman Avenue in Coldwater caused about $25,000 worth of damage.

Coldwater Fire Marshal Steve Trall says the fire was reported at 7:34 p.m. and was contained to an upstairs bedroom.

The fire was out after approximately 15 minutes and crews remained on scene until 9:00 p.m..

Trall says the fire is still under investigation.

The estimated damages are $10,000 for contents and $15,000 to the structure.

Coldwater Fire was assisted by Quincy Fire, Coldwater Police, CBPU, Michigan Gas, and Lifecare Ambulance.
