BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – While administrators have been hired to fill the principal jobs at Bronson Junior/Senior High School and Anderson Elementary, the Bronson Community Schools Board of Education apparently has decided to stick with Kate Wall as its Interim Superintendent for now.
A closed door session is scheduled at the end of tonight’s Board of Education meeting for an evaluation of Wall. She is also the district’s Curriculum Coordinator and Director of Grants, who was appointed to the new position after former Superintendent Steve Wilson resigned in June as part of a separation agreement.
Earlier this month the Board of Education formally approved the hiring of Kristina Crabill as the new Junior/Senior High School Principal during a special meeting. She takes over for John Herbert, who left the district at the end of the past school year to pursue an opportunity in the ministry field.
In July the board hired Laurie Doner as the new Principal at Ryan Elementary School, replacing Kristen Frisbie, who stepped down.
The Quincy Community Schools Board of Education also meets tonight, with the hiring of Frisbie as that district’s Director of Grants, Student Support Services, and Curriculum among the items on the agenda. Her hiring had been pulled off the agenda for last month’s meeting.
