COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Even though Coldwater won the basketball game, Quincy High School took home the plaque for the Student Spirit Award for the second annual Hoops for Hope game Tuesday. Students at Quincy raised $396.86 for the Branch County Suicide Prevention Coalition.
The award was accepted at halftime of Tuesday night’s game at Coldwater by Quincy Superintednent fo Schools Craig Artist and the Quincy student fan section. Players wore yellow socks in support of the cause, while yellow t-shirts were also sold at the game by the coalition.
Bronson and Union City will hold their Hoops for Hope game February 10, 2016 at Union City.
