Leroy William Stanton Sr., 63, of Quincy, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023 at ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital.
There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
Arrangements are entrusted by the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy.
He was born on May 25, 1960 in Dearborn to William B. and Erma D. (Fletcher) Stanton. On May 2, 1998, Leroy married Carolyn (Etchey) and she survives.
Leroy graduated from Pennfield High School. He was employed at Coldwater Community Schools since 1989 in the maintenance department until his retirement in 2022.
Leroy enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and horseback riding, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, Carolyn, Leroy is survived by two daughters, Amy Harp of New York, Dorita Cline of Battle Creek; two sons, William (Ashley) Stanton of New York, Robin (Veronica) Cline of Quincy; two sisters, Rena (David) Corley of Florida, Alice (David) Noe of Florida; 13 grandchildren, Lily, Izabel, Brayson, Maddox, Chasten, Noah, Lucas, Kelsea, Garrett, Jasmyn, Gahvyn, Robin, Shannon and two great-grandchildren, Carmen and Oaklynn.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Humane Society of Branch County.
