Brenda Kay Wilhelm, 70, of Coldwater, passed away Monday, August 21, 2023, at the home of family in Union City.
A graveside service will be held Friday, August 25, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. Oak Grove Cemetery in Coldwater with Pastor Harold Jewell officiating.
Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Brenda was born March 8, 1953 to Wayne and Beverly (Hungerford) Marks in Benton Harbor, MI. She married Robert Ewers, and he preceded her in death September 7, 1994. She later married James Wilhelm, who also preceded her in death.
Brenda held a true passion for the word of God and found her joy in sharing it with others. With a true servant’s heart, Brenda led Bible Studies at the Lakeland Correctional Facility and hosted many foster children.
Her family was her life and world. Brenda loved nothing more than spending time with her beloved grandchildren.
Brenda is survived by her children, Terry (Sherideth) Ewers of Union City, Sara Ewers of Coldwater, Patrice Ewers of Three Rivers, Joshua Ewers of Indianapolis, IN, Melissa Ewers of Indiana; her daughter in law Maureen Ewers of Port Orange, FL; her siblings Don (JoAnn) Marks of Bronson, Dennis (Patty) Marks of Florida, Susan Stansberry of Battle Creek, Rex (Deb) Yesh of Battle Creek; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and foster children; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husbands, Brenda was preceded in death by her son Michael Ewers; her sister Joyce McNitt; and brother Jim Marks.
