COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – There could be some changes in the future on how yard waste and brush are picked up in the City of Coldwater.
Department of Municipal Services Director Bob Granger told the Coldwater City Council on Monday night abuse of the program is a problem.
There are also issues with the number of employees needed.
Brush collection and leaf pickup are provided by the city for residents between April and October. The yard waste pickup is conducted during those same months.
Granger suggested several changes for the program.
No formal action was taken by the Council on Monday night but they are expected to go over p;rogram recommendations during their next meeting on September 11.
