CAMDEN TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – Two persons were killed Friday morning in a Hillsdale County crash.
The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Department says they were dispatched at about 10:40 a.m. to Territorial and Mead Roads.
It was determined that a 2008 Ford Explorer Sport Trac was traveling north on Mead Road when it entered the intersection and collided with a semi-tractor trailer driven by 53-year-old Gerardo Rodriguez of Batesville, Texas.
The two occupants of the Ford Explorer Sport Trac were pronounced deceased at the scene. The names of the fatal victims along with further information on the crash has not been released.
The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate the crash.
They were assisted at the scene by the Montgomery, Camden and Woodbridge Fire Departments and the Reading Emergency Unit.
