COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A bicyclist was injured Friday night when he was struck by a turning vehicle at the main four corners in downtown Coldwater.
The crash happened at about 9:40 p.m.. The Coldwater B.P.U. camera in downtown Coldwater showed the bicyclist was heading west on the north side of the intersection of U.S. 12 and Marshall when he was struck by a vehicle making a left hand turn.
The video showed the man on the bike hit the passenger side of the vehicle.
Several occupants of passing vehicle assisted the injured man until Coldwater Police arrived.
The injured bicyclist was transported from the scene by Life Care Ambulance.
Coldwater Fire Department first responders were also dispatched.
Coldwater Police continue to investigate.
