COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Community Health Center of Branch County Board of Trustees has voted to stand pat with their leadership for the coming year while the hospital will have to hire a new Chief Financial Officer. At the Board’s annual meeting on Monday, Mike Iveson was re-appointed Board Chair while Ron Sampsel will again serve as Vice-Chair. Also, Lindy Cox remains at Board Secretary Treasurer.
CHC’s CFO since February of last year, Amy Crouch, has moved on to another health organization. Health Center President and CEO Randy DeGroot reported that Crouch provided a 30-day notice at the beginning of last month that she had taken a similar post with a Ft. Wayne area physicians group.
According to DeGroot, a successor to Crouch may be selected with the assistance of ProMedica Health, the Toledo, Ohio based non-profit which next month will be entering a strategic management agreement with CHC that could lead to the sale of the hospital in Coldwater to ProMedica sometime before 2018.
