COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Clemens Food Group has announced they have purchased the building formerly owned by Community Action on North Michigan Avenue in Coldwater. “We knew we would need space for temporary offices, interviews, training, and meetings while we are in the process of building the pork processing facility,” said Earnie Meily of Clemens Food Group. “We became aware of Community Action’s desire to move their programs closer to the populations they serve, and were able to provide a solution that fulfilled both organizations’ needs.” Meily went on to say the building is undergoing minor renovations and will serve as a Welcome and Training Center. Once renovations are complete, hours of the Welcome and Training Center will be posted on the company’s website and Facebook pages.
Clemens Food Group is building a nearly 600,000 square-foot processing facility located between Jonesville Road and Newton Road in Coldwater.
