Chad was born April 28, 1985 to Terry and Sue (Surre) Andress in Coldwater, MI. Upon graduating from high school, Chad honorably served his country in the United States Army overseas during the war in Iraq.
He was a great outdoorsman. He found his joy from fishing and camping (especially in Alaska). He was truly in his element when he could simply be outside. Chad was also a talented marksman spending many hours at the shooting range. But his greatest passion of all was his family, most of all his children.
Chad leaves behind his parents Terry and Sue Andress of Coldwater; his children Ariah and Ezra of Coldwater; the mother of his children, Jessica Rasmussen, of Coldwater; his siblings Jamie (Bob) Alley of Elkhart, IN; Broc (Danielle) Andress of Edwardsburg, MI; Carlee (Joshua) Dock of Colorado Springs, CO; his grandmother, Ila Surre Murphy, of Waterford, MI; his many aunts and uncles; his special nieces: Brookelyn, Sydney, Kayla, Macy, Elleree; and his awesome nephews: Brandon, Hunter, Emery, and Owen along with many friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparent, Richard Surre, and his paternal grandparents, J.D. and Eva Andress.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Branch County Veteran’s Affairs.
