COLDWATER, M I (WTVB) -The case of a man who is charged with leading police on a high speed chase from Battle Creek to the west side of Coldwater last February has been bound over to Branch County Circuit Court.
32-year-old Joshua Allan Miller of Battle Creek waived his Branch County District Court preliminary exam on a charge of third degree fleeing and eluding.
He is scheduled to appear for a January 8, 2018 Circuit Court pre-trial conference. Bond has been continued at $100,0000.
Miller has a prior criminal history that includes charges of home invasion, aggravated stalking and domestic violence.
Court documents state speeds reached as high as 135 miles an hour during the pursuit which involved police agencies from two counties.
