Teresa Lynn Broad, age 50, of Battle Creek and formerly of Quincy, passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital.
A memorial service for Teresa Broad will be held Thursday, September 21, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy with Pastor Mark Case officiating.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will take place in Lakeview Cemetery following the service.
She was born May 1, 1973, in Coldwater to Rex and Helen (Findley) Otis. She married Philip “Andy” Broad II.
Teresa graduated from Coldwater High School. She was very artistic and crafty. She enjoyed drawing, solving word games and singing karaoke. She also enjoyed riding horses, and bowling on a few leagues. Teresa was known for her extensive humor and the love for her children. She was a huge fan of 80’s rock n roll, and always enjoyed a glass of chocolate milk.
Teresa is survived by her husband, Andy; three children, Richard (Jennifer) Wilkinson, Alicia (Kendric Stone) Broad and Vincent Broad; eight grandchildren; and siblings, Rex Otis, Chris Otis, Kelly Satkowski, and Roger Otis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Steve Otis and her first husband, Joseph Paul Wilkinson.
