UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – Union City residents have helped make the holiday season brighter for some folks who for one reason or another are struggling this year.
Village officials have announced on their Facebook page that an astounding 305 gifts were donated to the Giving Tree Project.
The gifts were collected for 55 children and 21 families.
Along with the gifts, all of the kids will get hats, gloves, socks and candy bars which all were donated as well. Two large bins of hats, gloves and socks were collected.
Officials would like to thank everybody who helped out during the project.
