COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Four Maple Lawn employees were recently awarded $750 Leo Sanderson Scholarships which will be used for continuing their education through Maple Lawn’s Auxiliary.
The recipients are Melissa Friedrick, Naya Girod, Krista Wood and Katrina Hamlin.
Girod and Hamlin will be are furthering their nursing degrees while Wood is studying to become a nurse practitioner and Friedrick is studying aromatherapy.
The Auxiliary awards the Leo Sanderson Scholarships to eligible employees at the facility who are seeking educational opportunities through schooling or conferences.
The Maple Lawn Auxiliary raises money throughout the year through yard sales, bake sales, quilt raffles and other means.
