CAMBRIA TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – Two adults and two children suffered minor injuries and a passerby is being credited with pulling an accident victim to safety following a crash at the intersection of Reading and Cambria Roads in Hillsdale County’s Cambria Township on Sunday afternoon.
Hillsdale Watch reports a Chevy Trailblazer failed to yield for a stop sign just before 1:45 p.m. and collided with an eastbound passenger car.
The Trailblazer caught fire and a woman was pulled to safety by a passing motorist before firefighters arrived.
Michigan State Police are investigating. They along with the Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Department, the Reading Emergency Unit and Reading firefighters were all sent to the scene.
