COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – In boys swimming and diving, Coldwater High School won their home opener at the Dr Robert W. Browne Aquatic Center Thursday night. It was an up and down for the Cardinals. Adrian had jumped out to a 29-16 lead after three events but Coldwater fought back and took the lead 45-44 after the sixth event.
It came down to the last event where Coldwater needed to finish 2nd and 3rd in the 400 Freestyle relay to win, with the Cardinals winning the meet 90-89.
Carter Moore also broke the team record in the 100 Backstroke.
The Coldwater boys swim again next Tuesday against Hastings at 6pm at the Browne Aquatic Center.
