COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – It’s a snow day for the kids throughout Branch County. Snow that began falling heavily late Wednesday afternoon continued into the evening, bringing between 3 and 6 inches of snow around the area by early Thursday morning.
Coldwater, Quincy, Bronson, Union City, Tekonsha, Athens, Pansophia Academy in Coldwater, St Mary’s Assumption In Bronson, and St Charles Borromeo School in Coldwater area and the Branch Intermediate School District are all closed Thursday .
Most schools in Calhoun, Jackson, Eaton, and Ingham counties also cancelled classes Thursday.
The Dr Robert Browne Aquatic Center in Coldwater has delayed its opening Thursday until 10:00 a.m.
