COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Board of Public Utilities has launched a month long Breast Cancer Awareness fundraising competition in October.
The competition is a challenge open to communities within the Michigan South Central Power Agency which includes the cities of Coldwater, Marshall and Hillsdale and the Village of Clinton.
The competition was designed to raise awareness for a good cause, foster collaboration between MSCPA communities, and formally kick off Public Utilities Week.
The winning community will be announced in early November and the CBPU will present them with the first “Pink Ribbon Award” in recognition of their support of Breast Cancer Awareness.
At the end of the month, all donations will be given to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Donations may be accepted on individual community
fundraiser pages on Susan G. Komen’s website or other acceptable donation formats.
