MARSHALL, MI (WTVB) – In girls high school basketball, the 2-0 Coldwater Lady Cardinals open their league season at Marshall this evening. Coldwater is coming off a 68-35 rout of Battle Creek Lakeview on Tuesday night.
The Cardinals have given up only 47 points in their first two games. The Red Hawks hold a 42-0 record in the Interstate 8’s three years of existence.

In the underclassmen games Thursday, Coldwater won the JV game over Marshall 39-35. Autumn Sunderland had 12 points and four rebounds. Mia Rzepka had 10 points and five steals. Bailey Burkardt had eight points snd five rebounds. Merna Yaldo had six points.
Marshall won the freshman game 47-30. Abby Herman had 15 points, six rebounds and six steals. Alyssa Bach had 10 points while Madison Beckhusen had 11 rebounds.
