Gregory L. McLaughlin, 39, of Coldwater, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, October 8, 2023, at his home.
The family will receive friends Thursday, October 12, 2023, from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
No other services will be held and cremation will follow.
Gregory was born February 26, 1984, in Sturgis, MI, the son of Victor Hargett and Patsy Clark.
Greg was currently working at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center. He had formerly worked for New Horizons Bakery, EXOS and at McDonald’s.
Greg enjoyed riding his motorcycle, shooting guns and traveling. He loved spending time with his dogs and his family, especially his many nieces and nephews.
Greg is survived by his husband Gary McLaughlin; his parents Victor (Phyllis) Hargett of Sturgis, Patsy Hargett of Coldwater; his “son” Terrence Shackford of Angola, IN; his siblings Tamara (Star) Campbell of Sturgis, Victoria Cox of Centreville, Suzanne (Kevin) Groff of Burr Oak, Nikki (Latham) Daughtry of Shamrock, TX, Kayce (Tristan) Jones of Sturgis, Donald Thrasher of Allen, Cody Hall of Coldwater; his mother-in-law LouAnn (Heather) Payne of Camden and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded by his brother Nicholas Hargett, his sister Selema Hall, grandparents Junior Clark, Barbara Clark, Albert Hargett, Betty Hargett and Aunt Dar Hargett.
