CONCORD, MI (WTVB) – Concord hosted the third Big 8 Conference cross country jamboree of the season on Tuesday.
Girls…
Concord won the meet with 44 points. Quincy was second with 53 points, Bronson finished third with 59 points. Union City was fourth with 88 points.
Bronson’s Ashlynn Harris won the race with a time of 19:31.77. Her teammate Ava Hathaway was second while Lydia Wells was 11th and Jaiden Hayes was 16th.
Kendyl Musielewiez paced Quincy as she finished sixth. Brookelyn Parker was seventh, Sadie Miller finished eighth and Kathy Parchke was 14th.
Union City was paced by Alli Gautsche as she was fourth. Alissa Skirka was 12th and Elizabeth Arlt finished 13th.
Boys…
Union City won the boys meet by ten points over Bronson. The Chargers had 31 points. Bronson was second with 41 points and Quincy was third with 110 points.
Union City’s Ben Gautsche won in a time of 17:00.5. Cohen Burdick was fifth, Cullen Decker was seventh and Montana Connell was eighth.
Bronson was paced by Tyler Wilber as he finished second. Dominic Kiomento was fourth, Drew Norton finished sixth and Jack Ganton was 13th.
Quincy’s Chayse Jensen was 12th while Nathan Richer was 19th and Eddie Miller was 26th.
