COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Legg Middle School boys basketball squads took three out of four games from Harper Creek Wednesday night.
The 8th grade A team improved to 9-1 with a 45-35 victory. Brock Thorton scored 12 points and six rebounds while Ethan Crabtree had 10 points and five assists. Owen Tom and Evan Sloane also had six rebounds. Tom had four steals.
The 8th grade B team hit some clutch shots to pull out a 37-36 win over Harper Creek as they also improved to 9-1. Jett Galloway had 20 points and five rebounds while Gavin Budd had 10 points and five rebounds.
The 7th grade A team came from behind to defeat Harper Creek 36-33 as they improved to 4-6. Elijah Sloan led the team with 15 points. Hunter Munson added 10 points.
The 7th grade B team lost to Harper Creek 40-25. Hamid Abdulla scored 16 points and had seven steals. Nasser Saeed scored five points while Eduardo Arroyo had five rebounds.
