UNDATED (WTVB) – Over 100,000 Consumers Energy customers lost their power following high winds and storms Monday night and Tuesday morning.
Full restoration is expected by midnight on Wednesday night. Over 1,200 employees and contract workers are working to restore the power.
Most of the customers that lost power live in Northern Michigan.
Consumers Energy reported on its website that 33 customers in Branch County lost power because of the storm. Outages were reported southeast of Sherwood and in Noble Township.
