COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Both the Coldwater Legg Middle School 8th and 7th grade boys basketball teams split their games with Parma Western Wednesday night.
The 8th grade A team remained undefeated as they won at Western 49-36. They are now 8-0. Brandon Downs scored 15 points and had five steals. Evan Sloane had six rebounds, Luis Cappelan had five steals and Ethan Crabtree had seven assists.
The 8th grade B team suffered their first loss of the season 54-44. Jett Galloway had 21 points for Legg. Gavin Budd, Nick Ingersoll and Gage Rodgers each had five rebounds.
The 7th grade A team won a barn burner over Western 46-44 as they improved to 3-5. Donte Work led Legg with 15 points while Chase Sunderland had 10 points.
The 7th grade B team lost to Western 30-26. Hamid Abdulla led Legg with 20 points and nine steals. Eduardo Arroyo had seven rebounds while Zach Lewis had six rebounds.
