COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Once the Community Health Center of Branch County becomes Promedica Coldwater Regional Hospital, monthly Board of Trustee meetings will become a thing of the past.
To help fill in some potential gaps, the CHC Board of Trustees passed a resolution Monday night which establishes a Credentialing Committee.
Hospital Board of Trustee meetings will take place on a bi-monthly basis under the new structure.
CHC President and Chief Executive Office Randy DeGroot told the board that the Credentialing Committee will be able to take care of medical staff recommendations in between formal board meetings.
The resolution called for the committee to consist of at least three members which would include the hospital Board Chairperson.
The hospital’s Chief of Staff and hospital President would also serve on the committee as non-voting members.
