COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – After Tuesday’s high temperature in Coldwater tied a record for the date, a big change in the weather is expected to get here in time for Trick or Treating.
The high on Tuesday of 80 degrees was recorded at the Branch County Memorial Airport at 4:15 p.m. which tied the record set back in 1963.
If you were around back then, you may recall there were three straight days of record highs in Coldwater between October 23 and 25 of that year.
Tuesday’s high will be the last time we will see 80 degrees for awhile. Temperatures will cool off over the weekend.
The National Weather Service’s extended forecast is calling for snow showers and temperatures around 40 for Monday and Halloween.
