COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater’s Lady Cardinal golf team recently held their banquet and Coach John Petzko presented various awards to the team. Jayla Goodwin was name to the Interstate 8 All Conference first team with Claire Sheppard, Hunter Jenkot and Molly Smith making the Honorable Mention All Conference team.
Goodwin, Sheppard and Smith were also named to the Academic All Conference Team.
This years team was also named an Academic All-State team by the Michigan Interscholastic Golf Coaches Association for their outstanding performance in the classroom.
Coldwater will return five varsity players from this year’s State finalist team in 2018.
