COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Both of the Legg Middle School 8th grades teams are now 6-0 after they defeated Battle Creek Lakeview Tuesday night, while both of the 7th grade teams lost to Lakeview.
The 8th grade A team won 67-17. Ethan Crabtree scored 17 points while Brandon Downs had 15 points. They both had four assists. Downs also had six steals. Evan Sloane had seven rebounds.
The 8th grade B team defeated Lakeview 46-42. Kyle Sheppard had 14 points while Jett Galloway scored 13 points. Gavin Budd had five rebounds while Gage Rodgers had three assists.
The 7th grade A team lost to Lakeview 61-33. Hunter Munson led Legg with 14 points.
The 7th grade B team lost 38-27. Hamid Abdulla scored 19 points, grabbed nine rebounds and had eight steals to lead Legg. Zach Lewis had 12 rebounds.
