COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Almost two months after a ribbon cutting ceremony was held, the new Branch County Animal Control Shelter is ready to accept animals.
Sheriff John Pollack says the new shelter behind the Branch County Jail will be open to take animals in next Tuesday, November 28, from 12 noon until 4:00 p.m.
The new building will serve both Branch and Hillsdale Counties.
The new facility was needed after a fire in May 2015 heavily damaged the old Animal Control Shelter south of Quincy.
