BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – A 24-year-old Bronson man was arrested on Thursday for allegedly being possession of methamphetamine while he was driving a stolen vehicle.
The arrest was made by Southwest Enforcement Team South detectives along with a Michigan State Police K9 team from the Marshall Post after the stolen vehicle out of LaGrange County was found in Bronson.
Troopers stopped the stolen vehicle and arrested the suspect driver who was later lodged at the Branch County Jail.
His name is being withheld pending arraignment in Branch County District Court.
The arrest came after SWET got tips from Branch County citizens.
Southwest Enforcement Team (SWET) is a multijurisdictional task force that has been operating in Southwest Michigan since 1981.
