KETTERING, OH (WTVB) – Coldwater’s Shuaib Aljabaly led 11 other select Michigan runners to a team victory in the annual Mid-East Cross-Country Championships in Kettering, Ohio Saturday. Michigan’s 35 point victory over Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois was the second consecutive victory for Michigan runners at the Mid-East Meet.
The individual race winner was national class runner Dustin Horter of Lakota East, Ohio, who finished the challenging course in 15:51.
Aljabaly finished as the runner-up, nine seconds behind the winner.
