BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – Bronson took care of business Tuesday against former Big 8 rival Homer in the MHSAA Division 3 Volleyball Regional Semifinal hosted by the Vikings, posting a 25-17, 25-15, 25-19 win over the Trojans to improve to 36-14 overall.

Bronson will face Kalamazoo Christian Thursday night at 6 p.m. for the Regional championship and a trip to next Tuesday’s Division 3 Quarterfinal at Kalamazoo Loy Norrix. The Comets won Tuesday’s other Regional Semifinal match at Bronson, eliminating Buchanan 25-18, 25-16, 25-19.
Thursday’s contest will be a rematch from last season’s Division 3 Regional Semifinal at Coloma, which K-Christian won 25-23, 25-17, 25-20. Our live coverage on WTVB will begin Thursday afternoon at around 5:45 p.m.

Elsewhere, the last two remaining teams from the Interstate 8 were eliminated. League champion Harper Creek lost to Portage Northern 8-25, 25-23, 25-18, 25-15 in the Division 1 Regional Semifinal at Grand Ledge. And Parma Western lost to Otsego 24-26, 25-19, 25-17, 25-19 in the Division 2 Regional Semifinal at Parchment.
