LONDON (Reuters) – Britain’s state-run National Health Service (NHS) awarded a contract to a group of companies led by U.S.-based Palantir Technologies, to develop new software to handle patient data, it said on Tuesday.
The NHS said it expects investment in the platform to be at least 25.6 million pounds ($32 million) in the first year, with up to 330 million pounds investment expected over the contractual period of seven years.
