ADAMS TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – A Hillsdale man was taken to Henry Ford Allegiance on Tuesday morning following a two vehicle crash in Hillsdale County.
The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Department says 48-year-old Jeffrey Raymond Kornak was injured in the crash. Deputies report Kornak and 74-year-old Richard Alan Hale of Jonesville were both traveling north on Milnes Road near Addison Road.
As Hale began to turn left into a field, deputies say Kornak tried to pass him but struck the Hale vehicle.
Kornak then went off the road and grazed a utility pole before his vehicle rolled over and came to rest on its top.
Hale managed to pull into a nearby field.
The crash is still under investigation.
The Sheriff’s Department got assistance from the Moscow, North Adams and Hillsdale Rural Fire Departments, the Reading Emergency Unit and Somerset EMS.
