QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – Quincy’s annual holiday celebration, Quincy Lights, will be held on Friday evening.
The event is being held one week later than originally scheduled. It was postponed last Friday after Quincy Community Schools were forced to shut down for two days due to social media threats.
There will be no change to the schedule of events.
There will be a program at Market 1858 starting at 5:30 p.m. featuring a community welcome from Village Council President Mike Hagaman, a Christmas blessing by Natasha Powell and Christmas music from Johnny Lopez.
Santa Claus arrives on a fire truck at 6:00 p.m.. Kids can visit Santa and Mrs. Claus in the gazebo at Market 1858 until 8:00 p.m..
