COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Cardinal bowlers split their matches with the Sturgis Trojans at Midway Lanes on Thursday afternoon.
The Coldwater girls rolled to a 21 to 9 victory, winning both regular games 816 to 730 and 697 to 663, taking totals 1513 to 1393.
They split the baker games losing game 1, 167 to 135, taking game 2, 172 to 125 and taking totals 307 to 292.
The girls were led by Ema Shidler with a 203, Lily Cook with a 179 and a 174 and Alexis Wood with a 173.
The Coldwater boys had a tough night, losing 19 to 11. They split the regular games, winning game one 804 to 736, losing game 2, 884 to 871, taking totals 1675 to 1620. They lost both Baker games 221 to 143 and 178 to 147, losing total 399 to 280.
The Coldwater boys were led by Kristian Yearling with a 238 and Lennon Swick with a 208.
The JV bowlers bowled a split squad and won 24 to 6.
