ANGOLA, IN (WTVB) – An area dentist is taking a stand against sugary treats this Halloween season which could lead to cavities. Dr. Guy Moore and Associates in Angola will be collecting donated candy through November 4, 2017. The candy will be shipped to service members overseas as part of Operation Gratitude.
With a goal of collecting 500 pounds, Doctor Moore have joined the movement to improve oral health by giving away dollars, toothbrushes and local favors in exchange the cavity causing candy.
Those who donate their candy that is either purchased or from trick or treating will get $1 per pound or $25 in BOO Bucks to use towards their dental treatment.
