BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – Former Bronson Fire Chief Brent Wilber was thanked and honored on Saturday night during the Bronson Area Fire Association’s annual banquet at the Bronson Fire Hall.
Wilber was the Bronson Fire Chief for almost two decades and was a firefighter for 37 years.
Wilber’s son Scott is now serving as Chief.
Brent Wilber was presented with a proclamation from the State of Michigan and a golden ax from his fellow firefighters.
A video summing up his career with the Bronson Fire Department was also shown.
