COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Cardinal bowlers split with the Marshall Redhawks on Thursday at Midway Lanes for the first conference meet of the season.
The Varsity girls won their meet 21 1/2 to 8 1/2. Coldwater split the regular games, winning game one 739 to 660, dropping game two, 738 to 704, taking totals 1443 to 1398. They took both Baker games 149 to 140 and 165 to 138, taking totals 314 to 278.
The Coldwater girls were led by Alexis Wood with a 187 game.
The Varsity boys dropped their meet 25 to 5, losing both regular games 888 to 742 and 853 to 718, losing totals 1741 to 1460. They split the Baker games, winning game one 179 to 178, losing game two 158 to 147, losing totals 336 to 326.
The boys were led by Lennon Swick with a 175 game.
The JV girls lost their match 16 to 14.
The JV boys won their match 27 to 3
