COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A local book club called Table of Comments will be hosting an All County Book Read Thursday evening.
The book to be discussed at the Museum Gallery at 1 West Chicago in Coldwater starting at 6:30 p.m. is “Small Great Things”, which was written by Jodi Picoult.
The book was written in 2016 and it deals with prejudice, race and justice. It’s based on a 2012 incident in Flint when an African-American labor and delivery nurse was asked to be removed from caring for a new born baby by its white supremacist father.
There is no charge for the book read and light refreshments will be provided.
