COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater McDonald’s Restaurant at 381 East Chicago had to shut down early Saturday night after a small grease fire broke out in a fryer.
Coldwater firefighters along with automatic mutual aid from the Quincy Fire Department were called at about 4:50 p.m..
The restaurant was evacuated and firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading.
Damage was estimated at $500, no injuries were reported.
After a clean up, the restaurant re-opened on Sunday.
